So if you follow this blog pretty regularly, you'll know that I have been engaged for a couple of months now (here is the post) but I haven't shared much about what's going on in the world of wedding planning. I was never that girl who dreamed about this moment since I was little, in fact I was convinced that I would instead be married to my career and live in the mountains along with my 10 cats and two dachshunds (and I was totally fine with this). I did not start envisioning my own wedding until after about a year of dating Lewis. I knew I didn't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money, #1 because, well, I don't have a ridiculous amount of money and #2 I think it's frivolous and selfish. I also knew I was a fan of vintage decor and that I wanted the decor to reflect our personal styles. By going through culinary school and taking a catering class, I had a little bit of background info about hosting a wedding (emphasis on little). I am by no means an expert but these are some websites I found to be handy. I will also be sharing some of my DIY projects in the near future, so stay tuned!
