- TRIPLE FALLS -
Whenever someone visits we always make a point to show-off all of the amazing natural wonders of Oregon. I have always dreamed of living in a place where I could be just a short drive away from an outdoor adventure and the PNW certainly offers an endless amount of possibilities. Triple Falls is always one of my favorite hikes to do around The Gorge, it has a good amount of scenic forest views, wooden bridges, and waterfalls while not being too challenging in regards to elevation levels. I always make it a point to bring my camera with me on a hike and this time I am particularly glad I did because this area was hit pretty hard by fires just a couple months later.
- PORTLAND INTERNATIONAL ROSE GARDEN -
Always a must during the glorious spring/summer months, the International Rose Garden is a must-see for all locals and out-of-towners. It's always fun to meander through the rows and find which one smells the best to you - on a clear day you can also get a pretty amazing shot of downtown Portland and Mt. Hood perfectly framed with evergreens. There's also a small hike through the woods and the Japanese Garden nearby so you can certainly spend 3-4 hours exploring this area.
- ANGEL'S REST -
Aka Satan's rocky anus. 4.8 miles almost all uphill and 80% uncovered...okay, it really wasn't that bad but if you do it on a hot sunny summer day - you're gonna have a bad time. There is a pretty spectacular view at the end of the tunnel and you definitely wanna take the slight detour to Upper Coopey Falls.
You could have included the hike you did when we were there
